I think the key here is that the personality had a purpose. Too often there are campaigns that are clearly going for the &quot;hey we&#039;re fun&quot; angle, but there&#039;s no real point to it. You might remember the fun part, but a lot of times you can&#039;t even remember who the ad was for.

This sounds like a well-planned campaign, and as you noted, a campaign that creates a whole brand new revenue stream is seldom a bad thing.
